Summer Seminar 2013

Yes the Summer Seminar has begun and from day one (yesterday) I felt John's transmission was incredibly deep; something like a download of new information on a quantum level, rumbling through the hall in the Unseen throughout the entire meeting...

Concerning the latest dialogue, as you may have guessed, it now gets to be uploaded after the Seminar... but it's definitely worth looking forward to!  And meanwhile I can offer some recent snippets from the Seminar so far:

Deeper Levels Within

 
 It's great having John back from Europe and I enjoyed what he spoke about during last night's meeting concerning deeper levels within.  Below are some of the magic words he spoke as he gently guided the person in the Chair deeper within ...

"Your mind and the use of it doesn't help you in This."

"You read the levels not by understanding them;

not by applying your mind; it isn't a mental recognition 

- it's direct recognition - 

from a level that we're moving in..."

"You can't use past experience to help you in This; 

the use of your self won't help you in This.  

The level in you that directly pertains to what is occurring 
is what helps you..."

"The relating is direct.  It's direct as a stream.  

And the streams keep changing ... 

The streams within a level, change.

The levels of streams change ...

You can follow it all but only directly..."

It is, of course, quite different to be hearing John speak these words in person, mid-way through a meeting...

 Regarding the new Podcast, it's still in the works and I am doing all I can to upload it before the weekend... however, if that cannot be accomplished, then it may have to wait until after the Summer Seminar, but hey - then it'll be something sweet after the seminar ends...We'll see how it goes this week...

Seeing in the Shadows

It's been another busy week and the podcast will take a little while longer to upload, so I thought I would share some of John's wisdom from our recent dialogue with you, in the form of a quote.  The following excerpt is part of John's answer to a question concerning preparing for a relationship:

"It’s of use to prepare to be in a relationship even if you would never be in a relationship. Preparing for a relationship gives a larger context for how you are in yourself than how you might normally be in yourself outside of any thought of relationship. In preparing for a relationship you would be dealing with yourself. Dealing with how you think, how you feel, what you feel, what you think – not just from the perspective that you have within yourself but from within a perspective that is able to include someone else. So how you are in yourself; how you are in the privacy of your own heart is going to be much more magnified if you’re with someone else. Preparing for a relationship is the same as putting a magnifier to your heart and to your self and living consciously with a magnifier."

  

 I loved hearing John speak in this way of living consciously with a magnifier.  It is all too easy to fool oneself into believing one is doing well, particularly if there are some profound experiences and insights occurring.  But in the privacy of one's own mind, all sorts of murky thoughts can easily be lurking, ready to have their say when no one is looking.  But our being, I feel, is always looking... and thus, we always know, even if we are so used to turning a blind eye to all that and covering it up.  So I have been consciously living with much more of a magnifier and I can see that it is taking real responsibility for one's self to notice such murky thoughts.  I like seeing them, then they're out of the shadows.  And I feel the goodness of this, whether it's in preparation for relationship or not.  I can see the truth that in a close relationship sooner or later such murky lurkings would unfortunately leap out - far nicer to be dealing with them privately!

As well, I am still honing the large cutting edge which is that of staying sharp.  Without staying sharp, it's easier to slip into believing crappy thoughts and then a mood can overtake me and it's not so easy then to get back in the saddle, so to speak.  When I'm sharp, I'm on my horse (for clarification of this metaphor go to the older Post Picking up Speed) - and then it's easier to stay planted in what I Know.

A Brilliant Light

John's away again, back to Europe - from the 8th to the 9th he'll be in Freiburg, Germany and from the 12th to the 14th he'll be in the UK, in Glastonbury, Bristol and Totnes.  For more information on attending these events (and you can also meet John in person), click here.

I miss him already but I cannot complain especially after the deep and meaningful meetings he gave us this last weekend, and last night too.

The dialogue  with John occurred yesterday and I asked him many of the questions sent in.  As always, his answers were profound and food for the soul - and I will be uploading it in the coming weeks.

It is such a privilege to be able to dialogue with John, and I value any time I spend with him most highly.  As a teacher of truth he is simply unsurpassable.
