No problem ...

"Your self has no problem
if you have no problem."

Thus spoke John at the informal gathering at the end of Friday's evening meeting.  He went on to speak of how pain brings your attention to a point and then you can bring your attention "right to that point" - and that point opens.  Yes with some deeper honesty, some opening and softening in the midst of that problem, you can relieve your self of that pressure and deepen in what you Know. Here's some more from that same night:

"Any kind of resistance in your interior
to what is outside of your self
isn't really outside of your self."''
*
 "When all of your energy
goes to what you Know
there won't be anything there for  resistance."
*
"Resistance tells you what, in your self,
you don't want.
It doesn't tell you the Truth."

John spoke of that point of pain or resistance as being like a red flag and to go right to where the flag is - right to that resistance - and there to "unconditionally drop."

That's all I've got time for today - but no doubt there'll be more snippets from this Seminar for you next week.

Until next time,
Love,

The Seminar of Light

It's a tad early perhaps to give this Summer Seminar a name, but that's what comes to me after last night's meeting.  I sat in the front row (albeit off to one side) and there was such a strong golden light emanating from John, filling the stage and no doubt the entire room ...

Here are a few snippets from that meeting, beginning with John speaking of how all the energy centers open and come into alignment as you enter your own Being, moving as that through all those centers ...

"In that movement,
that way of moving,
you come into your light body
and it is from your light body
that you have perspective in your self."

Yes quite a different perspective to that of the accustomed self ...  And later in that meeting he spoke of the perceived power in the self and how what is created on that accustomed level of the self will all pass away - it isn't real - the real powers are all unseen .. and when the questioner asked for an example, John said,

"Stillness in a storm."

In coming into one's unseen true powers that which is created and made manifest does not pass away.  Indeed John said of this true you coming into form:

"YOU realized into form
are forever."

Being willing and able to stay still of self generated patterns as that distorted conditioning storms through your system; staying true to whatever tiny little bit you know is all otherwise gets you there; Home, free ...

Until next time,

What words belong to ...

Sunday afternoon's meeting was so dear and deep too, as John took the questioner, dear Minnie, into the Deep.  Once there, he encouraged her to speak and, as she struggled to find words fit for the place in which she found herself transported, she gave the rhetorical question of "how do you speak this in words?" to which John replied,
"It's what words belong to."

Yes and yet so rarely in this world do we hear real words; words that belong to what we most deeply know the truth of in our heart, words that move us.  John told Minnie, "you're made for what you're responding to."   And he subsequently added that,

"Your self is made for this.
Your body is made for this."

It was a lovely meeting, during which Minnie gave us something of her life story, ending with how she just kept going, if she fell how she'd pick herself back up and then at the end, "... and here I am."  To which John replied,
"Here we all are."
It was profound.  Towards the end of that meeting he said,

"It doesn't matter if you forget,
it matters that as soon as you remember,
you love."

And his transmission was glittering.

Dear ones, that's it for today ...
Until next time,
Love,
Shanti

Ode to Deeper Beingness

Mmm .. yes, nothing beats deeper Beingness and my love for it continues to have me reaching for it, belonging to it, and giving way to it, time and again.  And I see in so doing, that the accustomed self, with all it's faulty programming and sense of lack, just isn't meant for the role of living life - really living life.  This is particularly noticeable when the going gets tough; when life brings you a situation in which the accustomed self feels extra anxious, tense, worried, etc (I say 'extra' because it's modus operandi is basically tense anyway, right?)
So this morning there was a difficulty and then came the noticing what was occurring in me and then the relaxing and moving to what is much deeper withinOh, such profound OKness is there!  My accustomed self wanted reassurance then, that this OKness meant that all would be well with regards to the difficulty.  But it is simply a different order altogether, this OKness of the deeper Beingness that we all truly are within, beneath the programming.  Just a different order, and it worries not.  I get now, more viscerally, what John means when he speaks of no longer relating to gain or to loss, to pleasure or to pain - that is the different order which is inherent to deeper Beingness; it doesn't live with that kind of agenda.   It is meant for life, it is the one who needs to be in the driving seat, making decisions ..  Mmm ..  it Knows ..  And it's a new or an instant kind of Knowing, full of calm capability - oh so different to any freak out in the accustomed self which just can't handle pressure - and I see it isn't meant to; it's really not made for that, it is too small.  And the deeper Beingness is so vast, so magnanimous.  So I am also really seeing now how it is that the self is much more a place for true change to show it's face and to manifest one's own Being, to make real in this world what we most deeply Know the truth of.  Against all odds maybe, but what Love, what a discovery, what a different life.  It's growing up and then some.  Dear John, what a wondrous teacher he is!  And for those of you perhaps not yet quite so familiar with your own Being, you can always open and soften in response to what you do always Know in your heart ... and just keep on responding (look for the subtle, the tiny little bit) - and you will surely find your way, it is your true love and your true home and of course you Know it, it's You, it's really you.

Wonderfully John is back giving meetings here this Friday woo-hoo!  Of course I have missed him and I'm looking forward to seeing him and being in his presence once again, for sure.  Also we are now only a few weeks away from the start of the Summer Seminar - for more information on that, please click right here.

Until next time,
Love,

Making It Happen

In these pressurized times, it's easy to feel like giving up, taking it easy and putting stuff into the 'too hard' basket.  But I feel drawn to step up in these challenging times and to make it happen.  Where IT is that lovely, silent and most subtle  attunement within, to that which we Know the truth of in our hearts - and in that, learning to maintain an open and a soft heart - and also tuning into what is deeper and ever more subtle than that too.  But also I am speaking of bringing more excellence into our everyday lives in various ways; making the effort to get the most out of life, even to inspire our selvesNot to give in to negative thinking or limiting beliefs, but rather to reach for the stars!  Yes, I highly recommend reaching for the stars, especially when you least feel like it.  So in addition to opening and softening in the midst of any kind of difficulty, I warmly encourage you to dream big and to go for it.   Where such 'going for it' is a move towards a more balanced, healthy and expansive you.  You might feel a bit wobbly when you reach for the stars - that's really a healthy sign that you're stretching!

By the way, if you missed the recent mid-week Post, then be sure to scroll down and discover the link to the most recent dialogue with John.  He is still globe-trotting and is in Israel right now about to give a four-day retreat, before returning to us here in Edmonton.

Meanwhile, plans for my new website are still underway, and during this time you can still send in your questions for John (although I don't know when our next dialogue will occur) or for me (and I can answer here on the Blog).

Until next time,
 - enjoy the stretch   :)
