Happy Birthday Dear John

A matrix birthday cake!

There is no cake 

that I could bake 

that could speak of my love for you ... 

 Yes it is our beloved John's birthday today, and as he wings his way to Germany about to give a seminar in Hamburg, I am missing him already.  I've not given him a birthday present because, well, what do you give someone who is everything?   

But here are a couple of my favourite Rumi quotes: 

"Two, there are 

who are never satisfied -

the lover of this world

and the lover of knowledge."

"Come out of the circle of time

And into the circle of love." 

 And speaking of love, it was a most beautiful meeting on Sunday evening with our dear Dana in the Chair, (she has been with John for many years).  The love between them was palpable as John spoke,

 "Two ducks

seemingly incompatible and

 completely in love with each other."

Which brings me to my third and final Rumi quote for today:

"Let the lover be disgraceful, crazy, and absent-minded."

 My beloved John, I wish you a most beautiful birthday from all of us who love you so.  

I am so very glad that you are on this planet!

Entering the Portal

"Response is your entrance" - JdR

 

 

Mmm yes, more lovely meetings here with John over the weekend as he took some of the questioners undoubtedly Beyond ..  In that, he is for sure a Portal  and a pretty powerful one ..  On Sunday, when the questioner asked how to go further into This, John replied:

  "Without needing to see and understand.

You enter that which is not at all like your self

because you Know."

He went on to speak about how, through response  we can begin to embody the deeper levels within:

"You have a body,

enabling you to embody  anything

you've awakened to.

Anything that you know is true."

I loved hearing him speak then of the Beyond:

"I come to you from what is Beyond.

Within what I bring, we meet,

and by that, you Know."

"You're not able, on your own, to access the Beyond.

But when the Beyond accesses you,

you know the truth of it and by that,

you're able to enter it.

When it enters you,

you awaken and you Know.

When you  enter it,

you change."

"It's you entering all you Know.

You enter because you Know.

You enter as  you Know.

Enter because you Know,

without any need to understand.

Upon your return,

you'll understand a little bit more.

Understanding doesn't help you to enter.

Your response is your entrance."

Yes I loved hearing him make it so beautifully clear, that the way forward is all about direct response to what is Known but not first understood.

 

And the meeting last night was also pretty great, with John's transmission towards the end becoming very strong, enabling many of us to enter  and go deeper ..  I love to see what I see in John as he sits there on the stage exemplifying what is beyond what this world is all about.  As I go deeper and feel the changes in my body, it's like I'm not only seeing him through my eyes, but I'm reading  him with my whole body.  Last night, towards the end of the meeting, I was enjoying such deeper seeing and I loved seeing how deeply at rest he was as awareness within his form; such an incredible and beautiful stillness ..

Profound Love

Following the recent and pretty potent Autumn Seminar, the meetings with John lately continue to be intense.  The seminar certainly stirred up some dark and difficult aspects within my self and I was glad when John sat at my table in the cafe and gave me some specific guidance on how best to deal with what I was in.  Once again I appreciated the wonderfulness of having a living master from whom to receive such direct guidance.

Going back to the meeting last  Sunday evening, I enjoyed hearing John speak of being and doing what you know through unfiltered response, and how being able to apply what is realized, leads to profound love ...

"Profound Love,

when you are in what you Know

that is deeper than the familiarity in your life.

As that knowledge moves into realization,

profound love thickens. 

As realization moves into understanding,

profound love lands.

Your own being lands in your life.

First it has entrance into your life.

Entrance through your response to Knowing,

entrance without presence.

The presence of your being enters your life 

as you fully respond to realization.

As you are completely taken by realization,

your being lands in your life;

you understand."

in the stream of this world,

without at all being what this world is.

That which moves freely in this world

without this world comprehending what has entered it,

Certainly there was some profound love moving through the hall during last night's meeting, thanks to another very strong and exquisite transmission from John.  Below is a tiny little snippet from that meeting, when he was guiding the questioner to move deeper within ...

Autumn Podcast

Autumn Seminar 2014

During the meeting on Saturday evening, the questioner asked John about what it meant to be deadly serious in This, and he replied:

 "It means (that) all of your awareness

is in full response 

and that even a threat to your life couldn't distract you.

Without any use of power

no power can have you.

You belong to what you know.

Not even separation can distract you."

The questioner then asked what he meant by separation, and he replied:

"That there isn't any level of separation 

that can distract you.

Nothing has purchase in you,

except what you know."

It's a day early and a bit short and sweet this week but next week I'll have more time and it'll be up on Tuesday as usual, and I might even be able to upload the latest podcast too!

Living in your heart matters

"When your orientation is to your heart,

and to what you know in your heart,

it's easy to be in that

and come from that,

day to day."

The above snippets are from yesterday's evening meeting, where the simplicity and truth of John's words surely softened us all.  This was after some pretty strong meetings on Sunday - especially the afternoon meeting - where he brought in some new cutting edge teaching, as he spoke of "a different and higher dimension of awareness."  He spoke of how, when awakening and responding to a deeper level within means more to you than what your self has meant to you, there can be a fusion of that deeper level within your self.  And that as your self then gets reconstituted by living that deeper level in your self in your life - and when you have no need  to moderate how being that deeper level is reconstituting your self - there is then a higher dimension of awareness that's accessible. John spoke of how entering that higher dimension of awareness "super powers your mobility as awareness in that deeper level."  When the questioner asked how this happens, John replied, "By example and invitation."  Yes, by his  example and invitation - such a magical, awesome and high-speed  way to travel ...

An Unfamiliar Ease

Firstly sorry this is a day late, my internet at home is down!  The title of today's Post is in reference to my time in the Chair with John on Monday evening where I spoke of a new kind of pressure inside and John reaffirmed that I need no recourse or relief.  He spoke to me of an ease that has nothing to do with my past - which I instantly knew.  Afterwards, I put it together for myself as an unfamiliar ease … it's like an ever-fresh, new, clear, clean stream.  Existence was quick to present me with a strong difficulty the very next day, and which I'm still dealing with, in which to employ this new ease in my living.  So, in the midst of the feelings of tension and concern which have been getting triggered in my system, there it is - that new taste - the quiet and lovely stream.  I see it's a fine line to not be wanting the relief of feeling better and needing such ease in the midst of pressure or difficulty.  Indeed, this ease which has nothing to do with my past, (and therefore nothing to do with my accustomed self or any story), this ease is actually full of knowledge.  It's not the kind of knowledge easily translated into words or understanding in the way we customarily understand things.  It is of a higher order, a whole other level of okness, a stream of unfamiliar-but-known ease in which I am learning to move as I simultaneously go about doing what I can do on the surface, to practically take care of what needs taking care of.  

During my time in the Chair with John on Monday, I acknowledged the uniqueness of what he is able to provide and how my deep inner hunger for ultimate Truth can only be fed in such a meeting with him.  

In this other-worldly ease I see there is little (no) room for self concerns.  I see I'm available then for something much grander, quite beyond my little self.  This ease answers me and I see my system naturally calms down as I attune to it and I feel myself then to be in another Realm … right here, in this world, in my life, in a difficulty made so much easier in a true way, a way far beyond where the difficulty is happening. 

For those of you wondering about the most recent dialogue with John, I anticipate being able to upload it within the week and will once again do a special mid-week Post if need be to get it out there.
