This Lucky Life

John de Ruiter speaking to a gathering in Byron Bay, Australia  (2012)
'It is hard to find a being of great wisdom; rare are the places in which they are born. Those who surround them when they appear know good fortune indeed.'
- Dhammapada, verse 193

The above quote, attributed to Buddha some two and a half thousand years ago, is just as true today as it was back then. Attending John de Ruiter's meetings, and sometimes sitting with him in a more social context, is such a delight and such a gift.

Last week I enjoyed another Dialogue Session with John where he answered more of your questions. In the ensuing Podcast, you can hear him speaking most meaningfully about relationship and about marriage
He speaks too of profound sincerity and on how to go deeper within... It was a great  session and one you can listen to again and again; there's so much in it! Simply click here to go to the Podcast, sit back, relax and enjoy...

Unlike Buddha, we live in an age of jet travel and so there is a lot more opportunity to sit with John as he travels the world giving meetings. Later in the year he'll be going to Germany (twice), to the UK and to the Netherlands. For more information on attending these international meetings, or if you would like information about attending a Seminar here in Edmonton, then please click here.

Until next time,

Creativity, Meeting and Moving

This past week I've been listening to John CD's and podcasts and painting prolifically. And I can't help but note the inner changes and similarities becoming reflected in my paintings. For example, the increased willingness to explore new ground and to give more attention to detail.

'Buddha's Colours,' by Shanti George
Being creative is such a delight, and painting has always been meditative, healing and a sort of home for me.

On Saturday I left my artistic hermitude for a party and it was a great opportunity to meet others and (afterwards!) I could clearly see where (with whom) I'd been coming from a deeper heart-felt beingness and when self/person tendencies had 'done their thing' instead... Quite a noticeable difference!

Today I have moved into new digs and as I settle into my new home without, I am increasingly settling into my true home within. Being delicate beingness is such a delectable choice and I am so grateful to know this deeper, truer way of being in my living. Of course John has been (and still is!) a tremendous help in this.

And some sparkling news! There will be another Q & A session with John in the very near future which means a new podcast soon for you to enjoy. Afterwards, there will be much more space for new questions.. so I encourage you to make the most of this great opportunity!  Look within and look at your life and see if you have a question you'd like to ask John - and if so, please type it in the 'comments' below.

Until next time,
Love,
Shanti

Springing into Summer

Can you believe it is already mid May and the Summer Seminar starts next month? If you would like any information about attending all or part of this upcoming Seminar then click here.

I am loving all the green springing up around the city, as trees and shrubs turn bare branches into living colour and lawns transform the earth beneath my feet.
And aside from the new growth without, I can see that the seeds planted by John during the Spring Seminar are also beginning to sprout and reach for the heavens within me and others in the group.

I am not alone in saying that time itself is increasingly speeding up and, in alignment with this, I sense a veritable quickening as the planetary awakening reaches for the booster switch.

I am subsequently able to see much more, including ever more subtle aspects such as my use of personality, like a familiar old car that I'm so used to getting around in, I've never really taken much notice of it. But everything is coming under the microscope now as my love of truth uses what is seen to turn into what I Know; a way of being that I love the most.

I am anticipating another Q & A with John soon, so if you have a question you'd like him to answer then now is the time to post it in the form of a 'comment' below.

Until next time,
Love,
Shanti

Coming Home

John de Ruiter

It was so lovely to see John and Leigh Ann back at Oasis on Sunday. It's like some very important part of me has now both relaxed and straightened up again. I can see the goodness available by John being away for a few weeks; so that we Edmontonians do not get overly supported. And it is good to face life's challenges without John for a while... but I still breathed a sigh of relief to see him again.

Speaking of support, I am currently house-sitting for friends and immensely enjoying some animal magic thanks to their most darling dog and two precious cats. One of my current cutting edges is true meeting - that instant, deeper level of true communion - which I confess isn't yet a constant ability of mine concerning people, but with my current furry housemates, it's a given! Being with them is a healing time for sure.

A couple of months ago, I was in the Dialogue chair and John spoke to me about cleaning up my act, so to speak. It was a dear interaction and if you would like to hear it you can do so simply by clicking here.

Looking into John's eyes now, the power coming through them seems to me more potent than ever - sometimes it's almost fierce - even though paradoxically there is always that beautiful softness too.  It is such a gift to be with him, to see those eyes, to be shown the way back Home by John.

I'll Have What She's Having...

I am of course referring to the best drink in the Universe, the Cosmic Cappuccino!

On Sunday I was enjoying John de Ruiter on the big screen at the live broadcast at Oasis. When a woman in the dialogue chair expressed her delight and gratitude, John acknowledged what was transpiring with the words, 'cosmic cappuccino.' That brought about a giggle in me and in others both at Oasis and across the ocean in the Netherlands, from where the broadcast was coming.

Yes, that invisible, delectable, out-there, in-there, overflowing cup of goodness. And not only is it free, when you drink it, so are you! It's so easy to drink cosmic cappuccino when you're at a meeting with John, but I'm really starting to see how available it is in every day life too. The seeming cost, as John says, is only a misconceived perception...

It's been great to attend the live broadcasts and I felt just as connected to John and his transmission as I do when he's here in person. However, there's nothing like the real thing and I'm looking forward to seeing John on Sunday back here in Edmonton.

Tomorrow and on Thursday (2-3 May) John will be in Israel and for information on attending these two evening meetings please click here.

There will be another Podcast uploaded next week, meanwhile I encourage you to make the most of the opportunity to send in a question for John if you have one. Simply type it in the 'comments' below this Post.

Until next time,
Love
